Graphic Design
Graphic Design is one of the specializations within the Visual Communication Design study program that delves into essential principles and skills for creating stunning graphic elements. Starting from captivating typography design to crafting logos that effectively convey a brand’s identity. In addition, this specialization incorporates learning about brand identity, packaging design, and other graphic elements as an integral part of the curriculum. Through this specialization, students are expected to become experts in creating engaging designs that deliver a strong impact.
Throughout the duration of their studies, students will gain direct practical experience. Through this process, students are expected to provide solutions regarding visual presentation challenges in various forms to overcome diverse demands in the graphic world. Students will learn techniques for delivering creative solutions related to visual presentation in the form of branding, packaging design, and overall product design.
In light of the continuously evolving industry landscape, Campus Ciputra Makassar ensures that graduates of this specialization are prepared to meet expanding market demands and become leaders in the global graphic design industry. - VCD Bootcamp
The VCD Bootcamp is held over 5 days. During this event, students practice operating design software to assist Visual Communication Design students in completing future coursework assignments. Design software instruction is provided to foster student creativity, facilitating a smooth execution of the design process from concept to final artwork. Topics covered in this bootcamp include the interface and tools of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, as well as mastering the application of these software programs. - Kasat Mata
Kasat Mata is an exhibition hosted by the Visual Communication Design study program to showcase student artwork created over the academic year. This event serves not only as a platform to display creativity and achievements, but also functions as a final assessment for Visual Communication Design students. - Mural Project
The Mural Project is a Visual Communication Design student initiative where students express their creativity through large-scale paintings on blank white wall surfaces. Students utilize their artistic skills to transform existing spaces into vibrant canvases filled with inspiring colors and imagery. This project is carried out to express creativity and inspire positive energy among viewers.
